What is Pinktober? Why Pink?

Pink, the color of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Peach-color ribbons were distributed on inadequate funding for research and with the raising sufficient funds they distributed PINK RIBBONS, thus #Pinktober.

What is Breast Cancer?

Cancer starts in the breast when cells begin to grow out of control and form a tumor.

Breaking the stereotype
Men suffer from breast cancer too!

Before that a fun fact-
Evelyn Lauder, Vice President of the Estee Lauder Companies founded The Breast Cancer Foundation and established the PINK RIBBON as its symbol.

Pink Pony campaign welcomes those touched by cancer to share their stories and build a community and will donate 100% of proceeds from 2019 Pink Pony Collection.

Nike x Sneaker Room

New Jersey-based boutique with Nike unveiled the React Element 87 SR QS sneaker and will donate 100% of proceeds.

Olay

Launched ltd. edition pink refillable jar of its best-selling Regenerist Whip product.

GAP

Brand to donate 10% of sales from the participating bra styles indicated with “This Bra Gives Back!” to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation where the maximum donation reaches $100,000 while supplies last. 

Elle India 

The Ogaan Cancer Foundation, under the ELLE Breast Cancer Campaign, lit up the iconic Bandra-Worli sea link in Mumbai in PINK!

Shivesh Bhatia

22 year old baker and a food and lifestyle influencer summoned that he’ll be sharing pink desserts in support through out the month aiming to get as many people as possible involved in raising awareness and funds to help support life-saving research.

I believe breast cancer is one of the diseases people are least aware of and even the women across the world tend to ignore the symptoms saying, “This can’t happen to us, we have good nutrition intake and take appropriate rest” but no, it can happen to anyone and the reasons can differ. I believe every female should get the 3 shots

  2. Firstly, I myself didn’t know about Pinktober so that was a very informative article.
    It’s great to see how big names such as Ralph Lauren, Nike, etc. are playing their part to spread awareness about Breast Cancer.
