Concept of Pop-Up Shops

Hey Guys! Welcome back to this week’s blog. Today we talk about the exciting and refreshing concept of Pop-Up Shops! This concept of setting temporary shops in an actively visited location literally means “Here now Tomorrow gone”. Flea Markets have existed since a long time and barely ever failed to attract a crowd, even more so now because of those perfect Instagrammable moments and the chill vibes. Be it in the food and entertainment sector, when little farmer’s markets are set up especially with wine, music, yummy food or Beauty and clothing Pop-Ups with make-up trials and the gorgeous outfits you come across! You enjoy and get a little taste of the products leaving you questioning where the actual store is? Where can I find this product again? And THAT is exactly the motive of every Pop-Up event.

Over the years, we have seen the biggest brands, designer houses both new and upcoming embrace this concept and attract a great number of customers to their actual doorstep or parent websites. This concept has especially proven successful for purely E-commerce portals to give that touch and feel experience to their customer base and for all of us out there, isn’t it just perfect? We get to try the products in a cute and engaging way!

Pop-Ups lead to an impressive footfall for the location as well.
Don’t you just love visiting those cute little pop-up shops getting a little glimpse of attractive products! From Make-Up to clothing, we can see the impact of this concept globally. And the cherry on the top has been the innovative ways the concept is implemented!

Kylie Cosmetics had a Pop-Up Truck go around the streets of Beverly Hills selling people all Kylie Cosmetics products from Lipkits, Eyeshadows, Highlighters to Blush, Make-Up removers, accessories.

This led to extensive social media coverage increasing the popularity of the already loved and adored brand

When two of the most beloved logos of fashion team up, we could only IMAGINE an exceptional launch. Louis Vuitton and Supreme launched a series of “intimate” pop-up stores in their two main cities, in Paris and New York, and quickly sold out the capsule collection.

It was on the rooftop of Galeries Lafayette in Paris, in the middle of summer, that Chanel launched its “Coco Game Club” for a short week. This exclusive arcade-like space dedicated to beauty, presented its new collection “Red Coco”. On the program: virtual games around lip products, beauty, but also an electric atmosphere with DJs and influencers.

During Paris Fashion Week, global color expert Pantone set up a pop-up event called Pantone Café, selling food in the same vivid shades as its colors.
Shoppers could enjoy beverages, such as Jolly Green juice and Espresso, and food that included Eclair and Croissant, each labeled with the corresponding Pantone color number.

Some Examples specific to India:

The very popular SHEIN hosted it’s first ever Pop-Up Shop in Delhi, giving its very loyal and enthusiastic customer base a temporary in-store experience. The event led to a lot of buzz for the brand leading to increase traffic and sales on its e-commerce platform.

Nykaa Fashion held its very first Pop-Up shopping event in Bandra West, Mumbai. Brands such as House of Masaba, Valliyan by Nitya, Misho and more thant Nykaa Fashion retails were a part of the event showcasing stunning outfits and drawing attention to the glamorous styling potential of Nykaa Fashion.

Pernia’s Pop-Up Shop, India’s most prestigious fashion house brings to its loyal and prospective customers the very exciting Pernia’s Pop-Up Show: a premium designer fashion and lifestyle event!

Their concept of “Ramp to Reality” with a fashion show showcasing all outfits on display at the designer stalls has turned luxury shopping into a glamorous event.

Over all, for both Luxury and Premium brands, Pop-Up stores have helped gain more flexibility while offering their consumers a unique and engaging experience and capitalizing on this buzzy concept and for us this is just another reason to chill and shop!

Until next time,

XOXO
